Currently reading this book which starts off with some self boosting (which I think was not overdone based on the success of this author) and an experiment on burying beetle's infanticidal act on their own babies. The number of babies killed is based on the size of the carcasses they find. Outsider beetles will kill their same sex and all babies forcing the opposite sex beetle to mate with them. Wilson then goes on to descibe this story as if the beetles were humans. Interesting.

Another recent read was China Ghosts written by a foreigner (*cough*) on his views on China's adoption system. The author was father of two super cute adopted China girls. The book was sincere, loving, naive at times, but generally quite good for a slow Sunday afternoon. China is actually praised in this book for their adoption system!

My first Palahnuik book. It was quite shocking, funny, brutal, and strange. A group of writers go to a writer's retreat and end up mutilating themselves for future fame. Each writer writes their own little story in this novel summing up to 23 in total. I want to remeber everyone of them: nightmare box, guts' masterbation story, miss america's boring story, hot potting, emigrating to venus, artist turned into sniper, lady baglady, etc. etc.

It was a fun read - made me join The Cult: a book club forum by CP's fans.

When I was dreaming last night I kept reviewing the dream over and over again and promised myself I would write it down when I woke up. By the time I had more dreams, brushed my teeth, surfed the net, made a few phone calls, checked mapquest, get dressed, viewed porn, chat on msn, looked at my broken camera, remebered about having to write down what I promised myself earlier, I failed to recall the dream. It has something to do with me guessing whether small identical dolls made with marijuana and alcohol were alive or robots. I remeber eating part of the doll and sharing it with someone. When you look closely at the pale dolls, there were veins and it let me to wonder whether or not it is possible to create these delicate transparent veins with human hands.

A new batch of cakes have been made! The recent sales have encouraged Meowgu to produce more sweets for the girls. Most of this new batch will be made into pendants, chunky rings, and earrings. Seeing them sitting there quietly made Meowgu smile.

Was I there? (Shanghai photo revisited)

Somehow there is something creepy about this. (Shanghai photo revisited.)

Yes. I have been looking at a lot of toys recently. This one looks great. It's a pottery wheel without the high expenses attached. It also comes with a bag of air dry clay. But the downside is those air dry clay probably can't hold water and you can't get those magnificent colours from glaze. If you buy this it will ultimately lead you to buying a kiln if you want to enhance your pottery. This plastic gadget is $79.95 sold here: http://shopping.discovery.com/product-59290.html

I have recently been looking at ereaders again and found that Sony has one out. The monitor is paper like so it won't hurt the eyes and users can view it from different angles. It looks great (the one released in our technologically-behind Western country is not the same one shown above...that one is probably the 10th generation released in Japan and comes with 6 different colours to choose from and all) but it costs US$299.99 (oh...and they give your $149.00 worth of ebooks too). I guess for now I'll just have to stick with homebrew psp pdf readers and amazon.ca for real books.

Cows that burp less are helping the globe reduce greenhouse gases. An average cow burps about 100 to 200 L of methane each day. Scientists are now looking at a better diet for cows so they will burp less and make less pollution.
Why are people blaming cows for pollution!? Common....work on reducing our own green house gas production first. Make more electric/hybrid cars, encourage public transportation, band bag use in grocery stores, beer and lcbo store accept bottles/cans from all countries, encourage use of BT sharing, make more things downloadable including books, forms, info, brochures, exchange/donate old cellphones, plant a tree. But no...please don't blame the cows.

The game of beer tetris has begun and there is no space for food.
Made some new stuff but it isn't sunny enough to take better photos....so I can only put up 2 of the 6 items. I am dying to try out my molds and also make some mixed media pieces using fimo and resins. Also want to try out the magnet challenge at instructables.
One night, while drinking, or perhaps a bit drunk, I posted on a forum: Drink 1 to 3 beers every other night. Binge drink at least on one weekend nights. Am I an alcoholic?

Here are some answers:
A1. that's not the kind of question people can answer for you on the internet...... (sorry man, just asking)
A2. I think that like has been stated, you would have to be evaluated, or go to an AA meeting to see. .... (dadi dadi da...)
A3. ..if you are wondering about it enough to be worrying, that's probably a sign to at least talk to a professional... (sorry man, just wondering)
A4. yes, meowqu, you are an alcoholic. if your response to what i just wrote was "I AM NOT" then you are in denial.... (holding my hands up in the air)
A5. I grew up with a lot of alcholics in and around my house. It was hell.... (depends)
A6. What's your life situation? How much of this is convenience/circumstance?Are you one of those people who can't stop once they start? (keep asking)
A7. Sorry, *referred to A6 writer*, it doesn't matter where you are from. the fact of the matter is that if you drink too much and feel compelled to ask it on a forum like xxxx, you most likely have a problem... (sorry man, just bored)
A8. Re *A7 comment* See, this effectively discourages anyone from starting conversation on the subject. If by saying anything, you "prove" you have a problem, that's going to have a chilling effect... (oh yeah shut up A7 writer)
A9. ...The fact that you are thinking about your condition is a positive. Also, deep down inside, what do YOU think? (sometimes)
I was stuck in the stone castle with a bunch of supposedly friends of friends. I had to carry the biggest camera. A large monkey was following me. It suddenly jumped on me from behind and try to jerk himself off. No one helped. Not one single person even held the camera for me. Could these people be my real friends? I woke.

Our trip to Japan, Edo - Shimoda Hotel. 2006

Beer & cocktail fest 2007.
We'd do anything and everything for our drinks.
Does anyone read this? I have only send it to Adele.

Jellyfishes are mindbending.

Dream1: At home, in a weird compartment type setting with parents. A jellyfish that can survive in environment without water entered our home. It is one of those clear types with deadly tentacles. I was quite freaked out while my parents find it funny that I am freaking out. I close the compartment door excluding myself from the dinning room where my parents and the weird jellyfish are hanging out. After a while, thinking that my parents would already have disposed of the out-of-place creature, I opened the door. The jellyfish jumped/sprang, almost hitting me while I dart out of it's way, to the chair next to me. I got to the other room and shut the door. I woke.
Dream2: Earthworms are long and they love to procreate. When baby earthworms are born, a placenta would still be attached. Mother worms would consume the placenta for nutritional purposes. I work at the earthworm farm. My job is to separate the white placenta and sometimes cut worms to feed the mother worms. I usually work from outside a plastic bag while the worms stay inside so I can separate their stuff without having to touch them. Then I found this long freakish worm with huge sacks of placenta stuff hanging around it and I wanted to vomit. I woke.
